In 2014, nestlé group sales amounted to 91 billion Swiss francs, operating profit – 14 billion francs

Nestlé continued to show solidly good financial results last year. Nestlé Group's sales revenue amounted to 91.6 billion Swiss francs last year, while the group's net operating profit was 14 billion Swiss francs. In addition, operating profit margins rose 10 basis points to 15.3 percent, while the proposed dividend increased to 2.2 Swiss francs per share.

Paul Bulcke, general manager of Nestlé, argues that such results have once again demonstrated Nestlé's strengths.

"These are strong results. They show the inherent advantages of Nestlé – our people's self-dedication, our place in the world, the strength of our product portfolio and the quality of our innovations. We will continue to devote a great deal of attention to the long-term perspective and strengthening the foundations of future growth. Let us hope that 2015 will be similar to the previous year. Let's try to bring our organic growth to about 5 percent, as well as increase the profit margin and profits owed per share, as well as increase capital efficiency," paul Bulcke said.

Nestlé has achieved growth in all markets. Growth in the American zone reached 5.4 percent, in the European zone 1.9 percent, in Asia, Oceania and Africa 5.7 percent.

In developed markets, Nestlé's business grew 1.1 percent, while sales accounted for 51.4 billion Swiss francs, growth in developing markets reached as much as 8.9 percent and sales at 40.2 billion Swiss francs.
