Information on social media related to the recall of children's food

The quality and safety of the products developed by Nestlé is the company's number one priority.

We would like to reiterate what we have said before: none of our children's foods were recalled in the Baltic States.

We assume that the information circulated on social media this week is a distorted version of an incident that occurred in France in 2011 when Nestlé voluntarily recalled a batch of children's food P'tit Pot Recette Banana (No L 10980295), which was marketed in glass jars. Nestlé carries out a thorough examination of each batch of products on the market, and on one occasion an internal investigation resulted in one defective jar being detected in one batch, so a re-complaint was made for that batch while caring for its customers. At the same time, it should be noted that Nestlé has not sold or sell these products in the Baltic States. All Nestlé baby foods are produced to the highest safety and quality standards and each batch of the product is scrutinized before distribution.
