Nestlé financial results: organic revenue growth reaches 3.2%

 

Nestlé announces its financial results for 2016, with revenues of €89.5 billion last year. 0.8% more than in 2015.

Nestlé's organic revenue growth reached 3.2% last year, while the real average growth was the largest in the last three years (2.4%). The Company's net profit in 2016 was €8.5 billion. Swiss francs, while single-share profit fell to 2.76 Swiss francs per share.

Nestlé forecasts that this year the company's organic revenue growth will reach 2-4%, with higher profit, single-share revenue and capital efficiency ratios.

"The organic revenue growth rate achieved in 2016 was particularly high compared to the industry's, even though our plans did not exceed. Last year, we observed a significant increase in operating margins and cash flow. Given these indicators, our board is delighted to be able to offer dividends, which are growing for the twenty-second time in a row. Thus, we stress the continuity of our commitments," says Mark Schneider,Director General of Nestlé.

The increase in results was achieved by society in all regions. In the North and South America (zone AMS),organic revenue growth was the fastest at 4.2%. In the European, Middle East and Northern Africa region (zone EMENA),organic revenue growth was 2%, while in Asia, Oceania and Saharan Africa it was 3.2%.
